EN50306-4 1P 300V 7x0.5 EN50306 Standard Locomotive Cable

Compliant with TJ/CL 313-2014, EN50306-1:2002, EN50306-2:2002, BS 6853, and DIN 5510. Rated voltage is 300V (to ground), supporting long-term operation at 105°C and short-circuit overload at 160°C (5S), with a minimum working temperature of -40°C. Bending radius is 10×cable outer diameter (fixed) and 5× (mobile). Crafted from high-strength special polymer materials, it meets EN50306-2:2002 for insulation stripping, wear, oil, low-temperature, and cut-through resistance, plus flame-retardant certification via EN50265-2-1 and EN50305 tests—reliable for demanding wiring scenarios.

Scope of Application

These products are suitable for the distribution system and power-supply system of vehicles and rolling stock that the rated voltage is 300V (to ground), especially for cabined non-high concentration acid-alkali pollution and oil pollution occasions which have low-smoke halogen-free and flame-retardant requirements.

Application Characteristics

1. Rated voltage level: 300V (to ground).

2. Temperature resistance characteristics: Long-term working temperature 105°C, short-term overload temperature 160°C (5 seconds).

3. Minimum operating environment temperature: -40°C.

4. Fixed bending radius: 10 times the outer diameter of the cable; for mobile applications, 5 times the outer diameter of the cable.

5. Mechanical and physical properties: The cable is made of high-strength special polymer materials. The peelability, wear resistance, oil resistance, low-temperature resistance and cutting resistance of its insulation layer all meet the requirements of EN50306-2:2002 standard.

6. Flame retardant property: Passed the single vertical test in EN50265-2-1 and the bundled combustion test in EN50305.

7. Oil resistance property: The finished cable has excellent oil resistance. Its oil resistance complies with the provisions of EN50306-2:2002 standard.
